Sue, great post. I love when people take the time to thank the people who have given them their wings. I have to thank @aaronstrout and @jstorerj for my twitter wings. They were twitter evangelists I couldn't ignore.

Thanks so much for the kind words, Sue! Connie and I do love our business and feel fortunate to find so many who want to learn it. You're right about networking; these are just high-powered online tools to do it....

You've come a long way, baby! Seriously...you've learned a lot in the past year. After meeting Sheila & Connie tonight I can see how they inspired you...they both seem quite passionate about what they do.

Thanks Mark! I've learned SO much in the last year or so, and I've loved every minute!

I think that being a seasoned networker is a definite advantage. And you're right, it is challenging to manage your time online, and decide which tools/applications to use.

In a few years we'll be saying, remember that twitter thingy? ;)

I thought I knew networking, having been in corporate management for the past 20+ years, and while there are many similarities, learning the ropes of social networking does present a new challenge. Not only are the options for connecting greater in number, but the reach of these tools is much greater and the crossover leverages each tool's effectiveness.

How you decide to use blogging, Twitter, Facebook, StumbleUpon and even email will determine how fast your network grows, and how little time you have left in the day :-)

Congratulations on your social media success, Sue! Looking forward to all you have to offer in the years to come!

Thanks for the comment Connie. I like the photo too! When I saw it I knew it was perfect for this post.

Before I took your class I was looking for information about twitter online and found BlogTalkRadio. I listened to Toby Bloomberg's podcast interview of you and B.L.Ochman talking about twitter. I really enjoyed that 30 minute piece by the way.

Sue, I love the photo of Mama Bird pushing Baby Bird out of the nest. That is truly the purpose of our workshops: to get other people up to speed on the tools that are available and then set them free to soar. It's been so much fun to watch you fly. Thanks for the very kind words.
