Blog setup: $400
This is my fee for setting up the blog, but there are additional charges for your domain and hosting, as well as your blog theme. (see details below)

Here’s what’s included:

  • WordPress installation
  • Installation and configuration of the Thesis theme for WordPress
  • Installing WordPress backup
  • Installation of email subscriber form
  • Feedburner account and RSS setup
  • Google Analytics account setup
  • Sidebar widgets for your social media accounts (Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Creation of a blog header from your artwork
  • Setup of the home, about, and contact page, and one additional text page.
  • Detailed title tag and descriptions instructions for optimum SEO.
  • Installation and configuration of the following plugins:
    • Akismet (spam management tool)
    • ShareThis (allows visitors to share your post on other sites and email to friends)
    • Thesis Open Hook (allows for easier customization of your Thesis theme)
    • Tweetmeme (easy one button tweeting complete with analytics)
    • WordPress database backup (backups of your site emailed automatically)
  • A one-hour coaching session on how to use the blog and the Thesis settings.

Additional costs:

Domain name and hosting (approx $100 per year)

Thesis WordPress Theme – $87 (a one time charge)
Every blog uses a theme, which controls the visual layout. The theme I recommend is Thesis aff. In addition to the layout, it offers built in SEO features and is highly customizable. Thesis offers much more than most blog themes and is considered to be the best theme on the market.  It is considered an industry standard and used by many well-known bloggers.
